He also guides leaders to create highly engaged teams.

Michael has a particular interest in organizational health and believes trust and transparent, candid communication are essential elements of a thriving organization. This interest fueled his quest to become certified in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ), a neuroscience-based approach to communication that builds trust, increases collaboration, and accelerates innovation.

In 2016, Michael earned his Professional Coach Certification (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. This credential requires extensive coaching experience, adherence to a strict code of ethics, and the passing of a rigorous coach knowledge assessment. He will renew his credential once more in 2022, then work his way towards the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential to be achieved in 2023.

In 2021, Michael became a Certified Mentor Coach (CMC). As such, he now also mentors other coaches on behalf of the Center for Executive Coaching.

Prior to entering the field of professional development, Michael had a successful career at Oracle Corporation where he owned high-stakes marketing projects and programs leading cross-functional teams while developing and strengthening critically important user group and key partner relationships. Michael was recognized by his team as being highly creative, incredibly consistent, and a reliable source of innovative ideas.

During his time at Oracle, Michael enrolled in Dale Carnegie’s signature program and graduated at the top of the class. He returned to coach others taking the program, one of whom graduated at the top of the class. This was the genesis for his passion to work with others in the field of professional development. This also led to him eventually becoming a professional speaker and communication coach.

Michael’s background and experience make him highly suited to working with leaders who are intent on improving their communication skills and unlock ways to increase their contribution to an organization thereby paving the way for advancement and greater success. He’s also adept at helping leaders to enable higher performance from a team that’s good and should be great.
