Kimberly Kearney
ACC | CEC Program Advisor
Kimberly Kearney, of INICIO Executive Consulting, specializes in supporting clients who operate in high risk, high pressure environments. She spent 15 years with the U.S. Federal Government as a CIA Case Officer and a diplomat with a background in fields including intelligence, counterproliferation, counterterrorism, South Asia, East Asia and Europe. Prior to founding INICIO, Kimberly navigated the crisis-filled world of international security and international relations. Her public sector career was defined by tackling the most pressing strategic and foreign policy issues facing the United States.
After traveling the world – Kimberly has traveled or worked on six out of the seven continents – Kimberly left government service and put down roots in Silicon Valley (though she will always be a proud Texan at heart). As an ICF-certified executive and career coach (ACC, CEC), Kimberly brings her signature composure, insight, and mission focus to both public sector and private sector clients. She has partnered with clients across the country, from Silicon Valley to Washington, D.C., in diverse industries ranging from CIA and Special Operations, to mountain-guiding, to Fortune 100, to startups.
Clients turn to Kimberly for unmatched, objective clarity, her unflappable calm, and her ability to simplify complex problems. Kimberly has a strong track record of partnership development, program management, strategic planning, and risk mitigation in fast-paced and ambiguous environments. She particularly enjoys helping clients build resiliency amid uncertainty, improve communication, and leverage emotional intelligence. Kimberly is also a career advisor for the prestigious Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service and a fellow with Marque Ventures.

With 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, she has led U.S. and global teams as an executive, embarking on her leadership journey at the young age of 25. As a certified executive and team coach, she embraces her role as a compassionate disruptor with grace and purpose.
